EOH files criminal charges against corrupt employees

Under-fire tech services company EOH will lay criminal charges against employees involved in corruption. In a statement issued on 10-Oct-2019, the JSE-listed firm said it had finished its forensic investigation that unearthed shady transactions worth R1.2bn. “Following ENSafrica’s release of the interim update on the forensic investigation in July, the board has now substantially completed the investigation into the R1.2bn of suspicious transactions that were identified during the investigation,” says EOH. The ENSafrica investigation uncovered proof of a number of wrongdoings at EOH, including unsubstantiated payments, tender irregularities and other unethical practices.
